The RTC created in 2004 is an offshoot of the CBCHS partnership with AWARE HIV/AIDS. It was created based on the need to train staff and upgrade the skills of personnel in peculiarly relevant fields of public health and community outreach especially in a sub Saharan African setting.The courses are chosen and designed based on felt needs, contextual realities, changing trends and global standards.
The RTC offers training resources that are suitable and uniquely impactful to African communities. These resources can be classified as- Logistics Resources and Educational Resources.

The RTC already 3 full health-related diploma courses in the Mildway program with international trainers involved and has registered 33 candidates so far, in the ongoing course, which commendable milestone. The centre has a complete list of logistic and educational resources capable of carrying out its own trainings and hosting other training programs
